Beholder-Ramalina Fastigiata Lichen (Drawing)

£0.00

Price On Application - enquire below

During a winter walk, I came across a small and out the way little valley near where I live. Walking down into the valley the trees looked to be still in leaf. Upon further inspection I realised that the trees were smothered with lichens giving the trees their bright green colour.

Every branch and twig was a riot of green and yellow giving off an almost fluorescent effect. This little piece (about 3cm diameter) was clinging to a twig which had fallen from one of the oaks in the woodland.

Location 51.07059, -0.95154

  • Compressed charcoal on Fabriano Artistico 300gsm hot press paper

  • Signed and dated by the artist

  • Dimensions 52 cm x 50 cm

  • Mounted and Framed. Framing options to be discussed.
